Head to Saint-Calixte for the perfect glamping experience. You will stay in a fully equipped yurt (electricity, propane gas fireplace, compost toilet, drinking water, refrigerator, microwave) in the heart of the forest at Ma Yourte au coeur des collines.
Enjoy the trails and the present moment, in nature. Then head towards Le Familizoo in St-Calixte. The Familizoo is a refuge for more than 350 exotic and Canadian wildlife animals. It is a journey of approximately 2 hours in nature where the proximity with the residents is incomparable. You will have access to a wealth of information about each of them and their history. *Ticket includes entry to the animal shelter, indoor games and maze. The site is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. When you return to your yurt, enjoy a BBQ dinner with local meats (included) served directly in your yurt and relax!
For your last day, head out to Rawdon for a visit to La Terre des Bisons. Learn more about bisons at the interpretation center and admire bison and elk in their natural element while hiking the 1 km trail. Before returning home, be sure to stop at Fromagerie Roy to stock up on local products.
