Excursion and cruise

Start the day with a hike on Mont-Sourire in Saint-Donat. Less than one kilometre from the trailhead, a lookout offers a sweeping view of the village of Saint-Donat, with Lake Ouareau and La Réserve ski resort in the foreground, and Mont Ouareau (692 m), Kaaïkop (839 m) and Montagne Noire (892 m) in the background. Simply magnificent!

This is an easy-level trail: 2 km round trip to the lookout, or 4.4 km round trip to the year-round shelter. Elevation gain: 490 metres.

The shuttle will then take you to Parc des Pionniers, located just steps from the village centre, for a cruise on Lake Archambault.

The departure point for the cruise, Parc des Pionniers in Saint-Donat, is the perfect place for a picnic, a walk, or simply to admire the scenery. You will also find a great selection of restaurants on Rue Principale, just a few minutes’ walk away.
