Start the day with a hike on Mont-Sourire in Saint-Donat. Less than one kilometre from the trailhead, a lookout offers a sweeping view of the village of Saint-Donat, with Lake Ouareau and La Réserve ski resort in the foreground, and Mont Ouareau (692 m), Kaaïkop (839 m) and Montagne Noire (892 m) in the background. Simply magnificent!
This is an easy-level trail: 2 km round trip to the lookout, or 4.4 km round trip to the year-round shelter. Elevation gain: 490 metres.
The shuttle will then take you to Parc des Pionniers, located just steps from the village centre, for a cruise on Lake Archambault.
The departure point for the cruise, Parc des Pionniers in Saint-Donat, is the perfect place for a picnic, a walk, or simply to admire the scenery. You will also find a great selection of restaurants on Rue Principale, just a few minutes’ walk away.

The excursion will depart near Radisson metro station at 8:30 a.m.
You will then head to Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, Pimbina sector, for a morning hike that is perfect for nature lovers.
At 1:00 p.m., we will board Le Saindon on Lake Archambault in Saint-Donat for a 90-minute cruise. For dates in August, the cruise will depart at 2:00 p.m.
The cruise
Admire the fall colours aboard Le Saindon on Lake Archambault in Saint-Donat. This cruise will introduce you to the events and people who shaped the history of the village, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2024.
Take advantage of your visit to enjoy one of the many activities organized by the municipality and its partners: outdoor shows, the Festival des couleurs, and more. Saint-Donat, a natural inhabited park, welcomes you for a memorable experience!
