Family business, Ma Yourte au Coeur des Collines is first and foremost the culmination of a retirement project for Nancy & Guy, owners of a house on the edge of a lake and a beautiful forest of several hectares where families and friends come to enjoy walks in the forest, the tranquility of the place and the pleasure of being in the heart of nature in the Lanaudière region, less than one hour from Montreal. We are also close to many activities: dog sledding, ski, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, zoo, water slides, golf courses, waterfalls, La Terre des Bisons…

With now five yurts and a mini-cottage, our four-season ready-to-camp site offers fully-equipped experience lodgings located in the middle of the forest and near a lake.

As nature lovers, we make our clients aware of the need to respect nature. Our accommodations are equipped with composting toilets, spring water, grey water absorbing wells, recycling bins, containers for organic matter and propane fireplaces.

And you can also enjoy our meals brought directly to your lodging, such as the Chinese fondue, the BBQ meal and the continental breakfast, (meats and local products) prepared by Les Museaux d’écosse.

We offer hiking trails in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter in the heart of our beautiful forest!
