  Day 1 | Departure from Montréal at 7:30 a.m., the winter adventure if your choice and arrival at the Domain Chalets des Pins

  We depart Montréal at 7:30 a.m., comfortably seated for a true winter getaway that starts early so you can enjoy every moment. As the city fades behind you, the pace naturally slows down: snow-covered scenery, quiet roads, and that fresh winter air that already feels like a reset.

  Depending on the day’s flow and the option you choose, you’ll enjoy one major winter activity chosen in advance (subject to availability and conditions):

  Option A: Nature day at Forêt Ô Cascades
  A beautiful way to experience Québec winter in full “fresh air” mode: snowy trails, forest views and an inviting four-season eco-park atmosphere. Bordered by the Ouareau River, this 225-acre forested area features 8 km of off-trail paths and a 1.5 km ice trail expand the network, allowing you to explore the enchanting snowy landscapes by skating and snowshoeing.

  Option B: Skiing or snowboarding day at Ski Montcalm
  A classic winter day on the slopes, with that feel-good mountain energy and a satisfying return to the chalet afterward. Possibility to rent the ski or snowboard equipment and add a 1 hour ski lesson to your day.

  Option C: Dog sledding, driving your own sled at Les Aventures Liguoriennes (La Grande Virée)
  For those who want the full adventure: taking the reins, feeling the rhythm of the team, and living a true northern-style experience.

  Option D: Dog sledding as a passenger with a professional musher at Kinadapt (Le p’tit coureur des bois)
  The perfect choice if you’d rather relax and enjoy the ride, the scenery, and the connection with the dogs while a musher drives.

  Upon arrival at Domaine Chalets des Pins, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the owners, with the kind of hospitality you notice right away: thoughtful details, a calm atmosphere, and the feeling of being genuinely expected. Your chalet becomes your cozy home base for the next few days: warm, impeccably maintained, and designed for real comfort. For a cozy evening: cook a simple meal, unwind by the fireplace, enjoy the hot tub, or just embrace the quiet.

  Day 2 | Slow winter day at the Domain: nature, comfort and pure relaxation

  Today is all about soaking in the spirit of Chalets des Pins: a winter stay where time finally feels like it belongs to you.

  Enjoy the Domain at your own pace: a peaceful walk in nature, a moment by the private lake, a warm drink with a view, or a long, unhurried pause in your chalet. What makes this experience special is the rare balance between comfort and coherence: the Domain takes its ecological footprint seriously, aiming to reduce impact without sacrificing quality or the overall experience.

  With transportation included and a stay focused on one cozy home base, this getaway naturally fits a slower, lower-impact style of travel, perfectly aligned with Bonjour Nature’s values.

  Day 3 | Last moments, optional winter activity, return to Montréal (arrival at 5:00 p.m.)

  Enjoy a final winter morning at the chalet: a relaxed breakfast, one last breath of fresh air, a short walk, a few photos… then it’s time to gently close the chapter.

  Depending on your chosen option for that day, your guide will pick you up around 11 Am, pause for lunch (not included) and then enjoy the winter activity you chose to end on a high note (same choices as Day 1, subject to availability and conditions). Around 4:00 p.m., we head back to Montréal, with an expected arrival at 5:00 p.m. — rested, refreshed, and with that unmistakable “we truly lived Québec winter” feeling.

  What to bring

  Your meals and snacks (the chalet is fully equipped for cooking, but food is not included). If you need a grocery stop, simply let your guide know.

  Layered winter clothing: warm coat, snow pants, toque, scarf/neck warmer, mittens, warm socks, and winter boots.

  A reusable water bottle and a small daypack.

  Bedrooms and beds

  2 bedrooms or more, depending on the chalet.

  Maximum capacity

  1 to 6 people (adults and children), except for Le Suisse chalet which accommodates 1 to 10 people.
