The authentic: guided day of dog sledding and snowshoeing, lunch included with your guide

Experience a full winter adventure with this Bonjour Nature package, which combines guided transportation from Montréal with the complete Authentique experience: dog sledding, snowshoeing, and a hearty meal. Your day begins near Radisson metro station, where you’ll board the Bonjour Nature minibus. Your guide-driver will warmly welcome you and, throughout the journey, share stories about local culture, regional history, winter traditions, and northern life—an immersion from the very first moments.

Upon arrival, your Authentique adventure starts with a safety briefing, followed by an introduction to the basics of driving a dog sled. With your guide’s help, you will harness your own team of dogs before setting out on an 8 to 10-kilometre ride through breathtaking snowy landscapes. This immersive experience highlights the close bond between the dogs and the musher, bringing you into the heart of a living tradition.

Back at the kennel, a comforting meal awaits you in a cozy sugar shack. Your guide will share the history of dog sledding and fascinating anecdotes about life with the pack. Did you know that during major snowstorms, mushers used snowshoes to break trail for their dogs? You’ll be invited to follow in their footsteps by exploring the forest trails on snowshoes, accompanied by several free-running dogs. With a bit of luck, you may even spot tracks of local wildlife in the fresh snow.

The day ends with a special moment: feeding the dogs—a wonderful way to thank them for their hard work and to create a final memorable connection before the return to Montréal around 5:00 p.m., your mind filled with images and emotions.

A true plunge into Québec’s winter—simple, authentic, and accessible—designed for those who want more than just an activity… a truly unforgettable experience.
