Imagine yourself in the heart of winter, driving your own dog team or comfortably seated as a passenger, gliding through snowy forests, fields, and valleys! Guided by a passionate team, set off for a half-day adventure and feel the strength, connection, and pure joy of the dogs, who are just waiting for one thing: to run with you!

In the afternoon, unwind in the all-white landscapes along several kilometres of multi-activity trails that wind through the plains and the mountain, where you can walk in winter boots, with crampons or snowshoes, depending on the snow conditions. On site, you will also find a restaurant and a space to have lunch if you bring your own meal.

    Dog sledding and hiking adventures

Departure near Radisson metro station in Montréal at 7:30 a.m.

In the morning, experience the great dog sledding adventure! Midway through, a comforting break awaits you: gathered around a wood fire in a small cabin in the forest, enjoy a hot drink and a delicious homemade snack. You will also have the chance to taste the famous maple taffy on snow, prepared in front of you with syrup produced right at the sugarbush. It is the perfect moment to recharge, chat with your guide, and savour the magic of the experience.

The center welcomes only small groups, to offer you an authentic, safe, and personalized adventure where both humans and dogs are at the heart of every moment.

From getting the dogs ready to the return to the kennel, you will enjoy special moments filled with laughter, connection, and powerful emotions. An unforgettable winter half-day that will leave you with lasting memories.

On Saturdays and on select dates during the holiday season, La Grande Virée is replaced by L’Escapade, a two-hour experience with the dogs. Hot drinks and sweet treats included.

In the afternoon, you’ll head to Ski Montcalm in Rawdon for a gentle, beginner-friendly snowshoe experience. Its multi-activity trails, with about fifteen kilometres of routes, winds through the forest and along the mountainside, offering shorter and longer loops that are ideal both for a first try and for a slightly more active walk. Even if you have never been snowshoeing before, you can move at your own pace, stop to take in the snowy scenery and simply enjoy being out in nature, whether in snowshoes, with crampons or in warm winter boots, depending on the snow conditions. On site, you’ll find all the comforts of a welcoming family ski resort: a cozy main lodge, cafeteria where you can enjoy a meal or hot chocolate, indoor areas where you can eat your packed lunch, washrooms, etc. Everything is in place for a simple, enjoyable and accessible winter experience.

Return to Montréal around 5:00 p.m.
