Take route 131 north towards Saint-Zénon and stop at the Parc régional des Sept-Chutes for an invigorating snowshoe hike! The Sept-Chutes Regional Park offers the most beautiful viewpoints in the Matawinie region. A great classic of hiking in the area, it offers a breathtaking landscape on the Laurentian Mountains. Between the maple grove of Mont Barrière (610 meters) and the rocky ridges of Mont Brassard (650 meters), you will find unique and diversified landscapes.
Next, head to Domaine Bazinet, in Sainte-Émélie-de-L’Énergie, where you’ll spend two peaceful nights in a cottage or in a room at the inn. Onsite you’ll have access to the skating rink, snowshoe trails, the farm and snow tubing.

Today is all about the great outdoors. In addition to taking advantage of the facilities onsite, you’ll enjoy an introduction to ice fishing. Vigorously energetic brook trout await you beneath the lake’s icy surface. During winter, trouts offer you a vigorous fight. We frequently put trouts in the lake, as much as in summer, to ensure you lot of catches!! It’s an original activity all included. We provide the fishing lines and we drill your holes. If you come for the day, you have access to a private heated hut for free with the purchase of 2 fishing rights. If you are lodging in our cabins, we drill the holes directly in front of your country cottage which is on the edge of the lake. Benefit from the fresh air of the winter to divert you between friends, in family or couple with an activity of ice fishing, which has made us famous for several years.
