Bull Falls Park and Bison Encounter

Departure from Montréal is at 8:00 a.m., near Radisson metro station. After a scenic drive of about an hour, you’ll arrive at Bull Falls Regional Park, a natural gem known for its beauty and peaceful atmosphere. The park features several forest trails leading to the impressive 18-meter-high waterfall, with lookouts offering spectacular views of the Bull River and the surrounding boreal forest. Along the way, interpretive panels tell the story of the log drivers and the forest industry that shaped the region. You’ll have about two hours to explore at your own pace, take in the sights, and enjoy the tranquility of the site.

At lunchtime, take a well-deserved break to enjoy your picnic or try one of the cozy local restaurants nearby.

In the afternoon, the journey continues at La Terre des Bisons, a family-run bison and elk farm offering a unique experience in Québec. You’ll have free time to visit the interpretation center and learn more about these majestic animals, their history, and their natural habitat. Outside, an observation trail and viewing platform allow you to admire the herds roaming in the fields. Before leaving, stop by the farm shop to discover local specialties and fine bison products.

Departure from La Terre des Bisons is around 2:00 p.m., with arrival back in Montréal at approximately 3:00 p.m.
