    Day 1

Meet at the boarding point at the Radisson metro station exit at 1:00 p.m. (by metro, bus, taxi or other means of transport). Your guide-driver will be waiting for you to welcome you aboard the Bonjour Nature vehicle for a ride in a comfortable minibus. Don’t worry, a luggage area is provided for transporting your suitcases.

Once on board, let yourself be transported as your guide shares with you the culture and history of the region.

To stretch your legs and discover a local family agro-tourism business, the adventure continues with a visit to La Terre des Bisons, a breeding farm focusing on bison and elk since 1994. Visit the farm, the interpretation center including the exhibition room which tells the history of bisons, the multimedia room which tells the legend of the bison woman, a legend of the first nations, then follow the trail exterior interpretation where you can observe the herds in the pastures.

When you get back on the road around 3:15 p.m., you will notice a change in the landscapes and topography and then you will arrive at the site for your stay at the Pourvoirie du Domaine Bazinet in Sainte-Émélie-de-L’Énergie.

A wide range of activities, obviously including ice fishing, snowshoeing, access to the lit ice rink, tube slides and more are offered! You will stay in an inn on the shore of the lake. Meals at the inn are included (2 breakfasts, 2 dinners and 1 lunch).

Let’s go for a memorable day of ice fishing! The package includes the necessary equipment and fishing rights* for a day on the lake to experience ice fishing. Speckled trout and great nature are yours. Take advantage of the day to also discover the forest on snowshoes or go tube sliding for some iconic winter fun. The 3 meals of the day are included in the stay.

*Provincial fishing license not included, available on site and bait also available.

    Day 3

After enjoying your breakfast (included), make the most of the facilities during the morning then vacate your room, your driver guide will be on site around 12:00 p.m. Around 1 p.m., a meal stop is planned at a local restaurant (meal not included).

For the next and final stop, we are in Nouvelle Acadie, in Saint-Jacques de Montcalm, for a visit and tasting at the Distillerie du Grand Dérangement. This strange, crooked building houses the distillery and the distiller’s economuseum. You will learn the process of distilling gin, vodka and whiskey, the principles of grain to bottle and the circular economy used on site as well as the history of distillation in Quebec. The visit ends with a product tasting and a visit to the economuseum. An unmissable discovery in the cradle of New Acadia.

Then climb aboard one last time in Montreal’s direction after a stay in the beautiful region of Lanaudière. Return to Montreal between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
