Parc national du Mont-Tremblant

Created on January 12, 1895, Mont-Tremblant National Park celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2020. This large territory of 1,510 km2 enjoys international stature being the first park created in Quebec, the third in Canada and the sixth in North America. It is therefore part of the world history of protected areas alongside the Yellowstone, Yosemite and Sequoia parks. With its six large rivers, 400 lakes and streams, it is a true canoeist’s paradise! The presence of 40 species of mammals, including the wolf, testifies to the wild character of the territory and its immensity. Two thirds of the park are located in the Lanaudière region with access from Saint-Donat and the other from Saint-Côme gates.
