Whether it’s for meditation or sports or to help you prepare for a pilgrimage to Compostela, Afghan walking is a great tool to improve your breathing, endurance and performance. Come develop your skills in a friendly atmosphere and experience the benefits this recognized technique has on both our physical and mental health—something we all need in 2022!

This unique Bonjour Nature retreat takes place in the heart of nature with our specialist Patrick Auger, instructor at Marche Afghane Québec and distinguished hiker, certified guide and Field Leader with the Outdoor Council of Canada and Rando Québec. You’ll also get to attend his talk on Pilgrimage to the End of the Word – Compostela (in French).

    Friday, March 18, 2022

    Your first stop is at Terre des Bisons in Rawdon. You’ll learn about big game farming at the interpretation centre and have fun observing bison and wapiti as you walk or snowshoe along their trails.
    In the afternoon, make your way to Have Familial in Sainte-Béatrix to begin your Afghan walking training.

    Below, a detailed program of your retreat:

    Arrive at Havre Familial at 4 p.m.

    • Arrival of participants
