You have never done winter camping? The only time you did it you didn’t enjoy the experience? Come and learn to appreciate all the joys of winter in this introduction to winter camping! Your guide will be able to teach you the basics of winter camping. You’ll see how to set up a complete winter camp and you’ll learn all the tips you need to have a good night’s sleep in winter. You will walk a few kilometers on OAC skis to get to your campsite in the middle of the magnificent forest on the Sentier National.

    Day 1

    8 am : Arrival at the meeting point at Locapaq in Montreal

    Checking the equipment then departure for the Sentier National!

    The first day is largely dedicated to moving to camp and preparing it for the night.

    You will use OAC skis for travel. A means of transport used in the Altai Mountains for a very long time.

    From setting up personal tents to building a snow kitchen, you will participate in the construction of an exceptional camp.

    Weather permitting, a short lake ski tour is possible before dark.

    Throughout the weekend you will enjoy wonderful meals prepared by your adventure guide.

    In the evening, campfire and discussions.

    For the night, you will sleep in a tent for an unequaled night’s sleep!

    Day 2

    When you wake up, you will be greeted with a hot breakfast!

    Participation in the dismantling of the camp then, hike on the gray mountain.

    Dinner in the mountains

    Descent from the mountain to the starting point for the return.

    5:30 pm : Return to Montreal
