The owners of Aventures Liguoriennes will share their passion for dog sledding by demonstrating respect and the well-being of the pack, 45 magnificent canine athletes, all in a warm atmosphere.

Half-day hike criss-crossing the plains, valleys and majestic forests of our beautiful region.

After a fifteen-minute theoretical training on driving techniques, we set off on an adventure! Aboard your sled, you will be impressed by the speed and endurance shown by the Alaskan team members, and by the real pleasure that the activity gives them!

Beautiful long walk lasting 1h30 to 2h on trails depending on snow conditions.

This package includes:

Access to the homy reception area to dress warm. Extreme cold equipment available on site if needed.

Theoretical and practical training before departure and safe supervision by experienced guides.

Access to the kennel and privileged time with the dogs before and after the ride where you can help your guides hitch and unhitch the athletes or simply pet them while they prepare everything for you. On the way back, stay and play with the dogs as they let them run and play freely before quietly bringing them back to their enclosure. A little magical moment that we all appreciate very much!

Driving your sled and being able to swap drivers with your passenger halfway through.

Several options of sleds are possible; it is by discussing with you that we will be able to direct you to the right choice in order to give you the best experience!

When possible, they will take photos of you on the trails and at the best viewpoints, all that will be share with you after the ride!

To warm you up, a good steaming beverage is served on your return (tea, herbal tea, coffee, homemade hot chocolate).

In the afternoon, learn about 2 local businesses.

First stop: Terre des Bisons to visit the herd of grazing bison, the museum of large game in Quebec and snowshoeing on the interpretive trail. A visit to the boutique to discover the bison products prepared on site completes the self-guided tour.

Second stop: Bonsaï Gros-Bec, bonsai interpretation center where you will learn more about the art of bonsai during the visit of the commemorative centre.
