Full Day of Guided Interpretation and Introduction to Edible Products in the Forest
The perfect day in nature starts here with our most complete and accessible experience. Your Marcheur des Bois tour guide will take you into the Ouareau Forest and reveal the many secrets of boreal flora and fauna. You will be introduced to its edible products as well as learn how to recognize them fresh for picking. Just a stone’s throw away from Montreal spend a magnificent day of gentle hiking in Lanaudière.
Important: this guided day trip includes interpretation activities and is suitable for anyone 4 year’s old and up capable of walking a few hours at a time. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate clothing and shoes before your departure. It is strongly recommended for everyone to bring their own reusable water bottle. Maximum of 12 places available per departure. Guaranteed departures from the Montreal region between 7:30 am and 8:00 am.
ItineraryThis morning, the Marcheur des Bois team welcomes us at Ouareau Forest Regional Park. Onsite, we’ll enjoy a gentle hike while learning about the surrounding nature and picking some forest edible products in the heart of the majestic park. Guaranteed departure includes round-trip transportation from Montreal, the services of a bilingual tour guide during trip and the services of Marcheur des Bois, park entrance fees, a picnic featuring edible products from the forest, travel documentation, all taxes and FICAV
- 7:30 to 8:00 am: Departure from Montreal
- 9:45 am: Arrival at Parc de la Forêt Ouareau
