Guided Nature Interpretation Tour and Introduction to Native Cultures
Your introduction to the Amerindian world starts on the shores of Lake Amishk where, you will visit the site and be welcomed with herbal tea. Next, enjoy a one-hour walk, including beaver observation and interpretation of medicinal plants. The tour continues with a craft workshop followed by lunch with traditional bannock bread. After your meal, canoeing on the lake and free time to explore the forest before heading back home.
Important: this guided one-day excursion includes interpretation activities and is suitable for anyone 4 years old and up capable of walking one hour at a time. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate clothing and shoes before your departure. It is strongly recommended for everyone to bring their own reusable water bottle.
